Auto-Rig Pro Animation Library: 150 Ready-Made Human Animations

Salman Naseem September 2026 4 min read

You rigged your character with Auto-Rig Pro, the control rig almost every Blender character artist ends up using. Now you need it to walk, run, throw a punch, or dance, and hand-keying even a basic walk cycle from scratch takes a full day if animation is not your main skill. Most character work stalls right here, not at rigging, at getting the rig to actually move.

Auto-Rig Pro: Animation Library, by Asim Hameed, is a library of 150 pre-made human animations built specifically to drop onto any Auto-Rig Pro rig in a few clicks. No keyframing, no mocap cleanup, no animating from scratch.

This is a third-party addon, not made by BeingAnimator. We are recommending it because it solves a real problem for anyone rigging with Auto-Rig Pro.

What It Actually Solves

Select your rig, resize the included reference mesh to match your character, bind the rig, and pick an animation from the library. That is the whole workflow. The library covers the range most character work actually needs: walk cycles, runs, combat moves, dances, idle poses, reactions, and situational actions like climbing or crouching. Both A-pose and T-pose characters are supported.

150 Animations Across Every Common Situation

The list runs from basic locomotion (walking, running, sneaking, climbing stairs, crawling) through combat (boxing, kicks, blocks, hit reactions, knockdowns) to social and idle behavior (talking, waving, texting while walking, dance moves like hip hop and belly dance). If a shot needs a human doing something ordinary, there is a reasonable chance it is already in the library.

Export to Game Engines

Animated characters export through FBX or glTF to Unity, Unreal Engine, and Godot. glTF export requires Blender 4.1 or newer. For game developers who rig characters in Blender but need the animation baked and portable, this closes the gap between "rigged" and "animation-ready for the engine."

One Thing to Know Before You Buy

This library requires the core Auto-Rig Pro addon to already be installed. It is an animation pack built on top of that rig, not a standalone rigging tool. If you have not set up Auto-Rig Pro yet, get that first.

The library also comes in three sizes: 25 animations, 80 animations, or the full 150-animation set. If you only need locomotion basics, the smaller tiers cover that at a lower price.

If your character is rigged and ready but sitting there doing nothing because animating it from scratch is not where you want to spend your week, this is built exactly for that gap.
