Wear and Tear, Color and Lights
A clean showroom car in a gritty street scene looks wrong, so the vehicles include a few sliders and attributes that change how they look without touching materials by hand:
- Wear and Tear slider: add dirt, scratches and bumps with a few clicks.
- Custom color: change the paint color, the amount of metallic flakes and the clear coat through attributes that drive the materials, so one car model can appear in many colors.
- Lights: set a vehicle's lights to one of three premade settings: park, low-beam or high-beam. That is useful for night scenes and for making a street feel alive.

The most recent update listed is traffiq 2.4.0 from September 2025. It added cargo assets: 11 variations of existing vehicles (a pizza delivery car, a delivery truck with boxes, a flower shop car, and vehicles with suitcases and bags in the trunk) and 13 Kenworth truck variations with different trailers, such as reefer, curtainside and dry-van, with branding. License: Read This Before Commercial Use
This is the most important practical detail, and the listing shows the license as "Editorial". polygoniq's license page explains it in two parts:
- Brand assets, Editorial license. Assets that represent real-world brands, which includes cars modeled on real makes and models, are licensed for editorial use. For personal and commercial use you may need additional licensing, rights, permissions or clearance for non-editorial use. Obtaining that clearance is the buyer's responsibility, especially for anything containing copyrighted or trademarked images, logos or brand names.
- Other assets, Royalty free. Assets that do not belong to a brand are royalty free for personal, educational and commercial purposes.
- Both licenses forbid reselling, redistributing or repackaging the product, and using it in a logo, watermark or trademark.
In plain terms: if you are making a film, a game or an advertisement that shows recognizable car brands, make sure you understand and, if needed, clear the rights first.
